BioServer – MicroTAS 2019 Special

This years MicroTAS, International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences will be held in Basel, Switzerland and several members of the Global Digital Biology Community will be present and show their latest developments and product. Ryan Fobel from Sci-Bots Toronto will have his booth just next to Digi.Bio from Amsterdam. In my excitement to meet everyone I continued my work on the BioServer, a network connected array of multiple OpenDrop digital microfluidc devices.

The rack can hold up to 18 individual devices that are connected through USB-C hubs to a Raspberry Pi to the internet. Protocolls can be uploaded and run remotely.
