We attended this year’s Gathering for Open Science Hardware (GOSH 2026) in Kathmandu, Nepal. The gathering was hosted by Karkhana Samuha. At the beginning of the gathering, we co-created an unconference agenda with topics such as “Open Source Hardware for Education,” “Open Disaster Shelter Construction,” and “From Prototype to Manufacturing.” GaudiLabs, together with Hackuarium, gave a workshop on water testing using ATP test sticks and an open-source luminometer. The program also included a public day, a visit to the Karkhana factory, a field trip to Sikali Chaur with a climate brainstorming session.
